HMAS Penguin

Overview

Fleetwood partnered with Puch Construction and Building to design, manufacture and install a new administration office for the Department of Defence site at HMAS Penguin.

Solution

The new administration building was 612 square metres and consisted of SCEC 2 rated administration areas, a SCEC 3 rated meeting room, training rooms, amenities and kitchen facilities. Other features included ducted air conditioning, Colorbond Ultra cladding, BAL-FZ bushfire rating (the highest bushfire rating you can achieve due to the project’s locale), concealed beams and tiled amenities.
