Geelong Hospital – Children’s Playground
Overview
Fleetwood was engaged through the Geelong Hospital to build a modular playground in the vacant space in the west wing of the hospital. The hospital was working with a confined space but wanted to uplift children and patients providing a small play area that could be utilised by all children patients and visitors.
Solution
Fleetwood’s role was to deliver a full turnkey solution which specifically included the design and construction of the small playground along with delivering the modules to site. The project was dependent on the collaborative relationship between the relevant stakeholders in collaboration with the Fleetwood operational team to coordinate the delivery of the project within the operating hours of the Geelong hospital to minimise disruption.
