We are thrilled to highlight Danny Howlett, a cornerstone of the Fleetwood team with nearly 20 years of exceptional service. Since joining BRB Modular in 2005 and transitioning to Fleetwood in 2011, Danny has held diverse roles ranging from Project Manager to Production Manager, Construction Manager, and currently, General Manager of Queensland. His extensive tenure has endowed him with an unmatched wealth of knowledge, significantly benefiting both Fleetwood and the broader construction industry. Under Danny’s visionary leadership, the Queensland team has consistently set new standards for innovation and success, driven by his unwavering focus, dedication, and tenacity.
What Danny cherishes most about working at Fleetwood is the collaborative spirit and the shared drive for excellence; he believes that when challenges arise, the team stands united. Reflecting on the best advice he has received, Danny reiterates, “There is no substitute for hard work,” a principle he embodies every day. His career at Fleetwood has been a remarkable journey of growth and development, fostering leadership skills that empower both him and his team to reach their full potential.
Outside of work, Danny is a triathlon enthusiast who thrives on pushing his personal limits, which echoes his ‘all or nothing’ approach to both sports and work. He also values quality time with family and friends, often enjoying a well-earned beer or wine. Excited about the evolution of the modular construction industry, Danny finds fulfillment in the significant projects he has helped deliver, which were previously considered traditional builds. He aptly summarises Fleetwood in three words: “A rewarding marathon,” acknowledging the challenges while celebrating the incredible rewards after every milestone. Fleetwood Building Solutions is proud to welcome Brendan Herron as the General Manager of Victoria, joining the team in August 2024. With a wealth of experience in the modular construction industry, Brendan has held numerous General Manager positions throughout his career, bringing a depth of knowledge and leadership to our Victorian operations. Since his arrival, he has made an immediate impact, driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, and integrity within the team.
Brendan embraces the fast-paced environment at Fleetwood, where every day presents new and exciting challenges, and he thrives on fostering a supportive culture that encourages each team member to maximise their strengths.
His favourite piece of career advice—“Learn from your mistakes, just don’t make the same mistake twice”—reflects his commitment to continuous improvement. Brendan is particularly passionate about the modular construction industry’s potential to innovate and reshape the future of construction in Australia. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and delighting in culinary experiences with food and wine, always cherishing shared moments with his family.
