Overview
Located 20km from the Perth CBD and only a few minutes’ drive from Guildford and Midland town centres. Cedar Woods Properties required a new sales office for their Bushmead Estate. The project scope asked for an architecturally designed sales display office to promote the sale of land from an environmentally friendly and fast solution.
Solution
The sales office was designed to integrate with the natural surroundings of the estate. With a variety of carefully-designed blocks surrounded by retained bushland, parks and recreational reserves the solution required careful consideration from an aesthetic and functional perspective. The building comprises of high ceilings and a large open floor plan that allows for a seamless transition from the internal sales display area to the outdoor viewing platform – providing the perfect backdrop for customers and staff.
Benefits
Bushmead Estate is one of the few exclusive WA communities to have been awarded UDIA’s 6-Leaf EnviroDevelopment Accreditation. As part of the environmental focus and Bushmead’s commitment to improving the community; Fleetwood fitted the sales office with sustainable design features including rainwater tanks and energy efficient appliances, as well as LED Lighting creating a contemporary, low-energy workspace. Manufacturing off-site also ensured that any onsite construction waste and environmental impacts were kept to a minimum.
