Fleetwood Australia Sets Hairy Target this Movember
As one of our favourite times of the year kicks off this week, Fleetwood Australia is very proud to announce our support of this year’s Movember. We have been a proud supporter of Movember for many years, raising much-needed funds to support men’s health. After the turbulent twelve months everyone has experienced in the wake of this year’s Covid-19 outbreak, never before has this been more important.
We are planning to grow our Mo-s, get Mo-ving, host many Movember Mo-ments and Mo-ing our own way to save a Bro. After long periods of isolation and social distancing for so many – the brotherhood has never been more appreciated. Fleetwood is proud to announce that last year we successfully raised $30,000 and this year we have set the hairy (pardon the pun) and audacious goal of raising $50,000 for this extraordinary and much-needed charity.
This year’s Movember is focusing on raising funds to support groundbreaking projects across mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
According to Movember research, on average a man’s lifespan is six years less than a woman’s. And for reasons that are largely preventable. It’s a global problem that demands out-of-the-box thinking, which is why we are taking on a challenge of epic proportions to raise funds for Movember and stop men from dying too young
